Guangzhou The Northeast Asian Debating Championships (NEADC) 2023
The Northeast Asian Debating Championships (colloquially known as “NEADC“) is the annual debating competition for university institutions in the Northeast Asian region. It follows the British Parliamentary Debating format and is held every year in November. Each edition of the competition is traditionally represented by more than 80 university teams from the region such as those from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, South Korea, and Japan. This year, there are sixteen (16) exclusive team spots for pre-university debaters, giving them an opportunity to compete against university debate teams. Pre-university debaters will have their own break category.
