4. What are 100% online programs?

All online programs are connected through a live video platform, where you and the specialist have interactive class. These are not pre-recorded videos, but an actual specialist conducting the class in real-time. Online programs are conducted via Zoom or Google classroom. Make sure you have your Zoom and/or Google classroom accounts ready before your program begins. You have the ability to ask questions, get feedback, and make a great personal connection with your specialist. Program Sign-Up

 

1. What can I expect when I book a program?

Once you've booked your program, please check your inbox for a Payment Confirmation email from EduDrift. You can check the itinerary for your program booking. Your specialist will be notified about your booking. Once the booking is approved by the specialist, you will receive a booking confirmation email within 24 hours. 

 

2. Can I just enrol for a trial class?

Yes, you can enrol for paid-trial classes. You can simply book a trial/single class for every weekly class program. 

 

3. Are there age restrictions to sign up for a program?

When it comes to finding the perfect specialist, you'll want to select someone who teaches the age group you're looking for. Specialist list their age preferences directly on their profiles and their preferences are entirely up to them. Some specialists. prefer to teach adults only, while others work with both children and adults. Most specialists accept children as young as 5 years old, but it often depends on the subject. Once you book your program, the specialists would accept or reject your booking based on your profile. 

 

4. What if I change my mind after signing up for the program?

If you do not wish to continue, you can cancel your program booking and receive a refund according to our refund policy. To get in touch with our customer support, simply contact us at help@edudrift.com. We'll be happy to assist you.

 

5. Can I reserve my slot without paying for the program?

No, you cannot reserve your slot for the program before making the payment. You need to process your payment for the program to reserve your slot.

7. What type of programs are available on EduDrift?

EduDrift offers three great program schedules- Weekly Class, Competition and Workshop! Our most popular program is our Weekly class, which allows a student to have a recurring class on a set day and time. This program type guarantees your time slot is reserved with your specialist until you decide to change or cancel your program booking. 

 

8. Can I book a program with more than one specialist?

Yes, students are able to take programs with as many specialists as they’d like in a variety of subjects. If you are an existing student you can sign up for a new program via your online student account. Simply log into your Student account, then go to www.edudrift.com to find your new specialist. Sign up for lessons directly from the specialist's profile, or contact us at help@edudrift.com and we'd be happy to assist.

 

9. Can I reschedule my program booking?

No, you cannot reschedule your program booking.

 

10. How to register for a program?

To register for a program, you need to select the program and select the ticket type you want to book using your student account. You have to proceed to make the payment to reserve your slot for the program. Your specialist will be notified about the booking after the payment is made. Your specialist will confirm your booking within 24 hours after the payment is confirmed. For further assistance please contact us at help@edudrift.com.

1. Why are all programs required to be paid-in-advance?

Our specialists take the time to build customized class plans for each of their students, as well as, prep for each scheduled class. As a result, in order to schedule programs with your specialist and reserve their time, we require the programs to be paid in advance. Classes are typically purchased in advance as part of an initial program package and/or as part of recurring weekly classes. Rest assured that even though programs are required to be paid in advance, you are covered by our refund policy that allows you to get a refund for your cancellations. 3. How do I take my classes online?

Taking online lessons is simple and only requires a few tools, which you probably already have. You will need the following equipment: 
1. A fast and reliable computer: This can be a desktop, laptop or tablet. To ensure a great experience we don't recommend doing this with your smartphone. The faster your system is, the more reliable your connection will be. Most computers purchased within the last few years should work great! 
2. Broadband/high-speed internet: Standard Cable or DSL connection should work just fine - but we do not recommend online lessons with dial-up internet. If you want the best video chat experience, plug your computer directly into the wall. 
3. Webcam: If your computer or tablet was purchased within the last 5 years, your camera is more than good enough. If older than 5 years browse cameras here for as low as $10. 
4. Microphone: Most laptops or tablets have great mics built in so you should be covered. If your device's microphone isn't working or does not have one, browse here.

4. How do I pay for my program booking?

6. How can I review my billing history?

To review your complete billing history, simply open the Billing tab in your EduDrift Student account and click the link for Past Statements. On this page, you are able to review all of your past statements from EduDrift, arranged by month and year.

Our Policies

 

1. What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Once your booking is confirmed by the specialist, your booking is non-refundable. Your booking information cannot be altered. Unless specified, your booking is non-transferable to another customer or student.

 

2. What if a specialist asks me to pay outside of the EduDrift website?

Please let us know; this should never happen. EduDrift handles the billing and payments for all lessons through our secure website. As part of our service, our students are protected by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and our specialists are automatically paid for lessons taught. If a specialist asks you to pay for classes via cash, check, or another website, please decline and let us know by emailing help@edudrift.com. We'll be happy to follow up with your specialist to resolve the confusion and/or connect you with a new specialist through EduDrift. Specialists who ask students to pay for their lessons outside of the EduDrift website are subject to be removed from our platform.

 

3. What are the student guidelines?

At EduDrift, we encourage both specialists and students to follow certain guidelines. These guidelines supplement our Terms of Use and are conditional to the use of our Website and Service(s). 
As a Student, you will be required to: 
1. Pay for classes in advance and manage billing & account status via EduDrift account. 
2. Understand and comply with our cancellation & refund policy.

Learn Online

 

1. How can I join online classes?

You can join the classes via the classroom URL link provided by your specialist. The popular platforms used by our specialists are Zoom and/or Google Classroom. Please set up your account before your first class!

Technical Assistance

 

1. How to troubleshoot technical difficulties?

Are you experiencing technical difficulties exploring EduDrift? 

First, check which web browser you are using. 

EduDrift is only compatible with the following internet browsers on a desktop or laptop computer:
1. Google Chrome
2. Mozilla Firefox 
3. Safari (limited share screen functionality)
We recommend switching to a different web browser if you are unable to successfully connect using one of the above. You may find that one browser will work better for you than another.
Second, check for available updates for your web browser and clear cached files and cookies.
Check to see if your web browser is up-to-date and regularly clear cached files and cookies to ensure your browser is running optimally.
Third, close any other applications or browser windows that may have access to your camera or microphone. You may have to restart your device to clear the settings.
If you are still unable to connect your audio or video, another application or tab may have access to your camera and microphone. Restarting your computer will typically resolve this issue.
Finally, check and see if your device itself has an available update. 
Always check and see if your device itself has an available update. These may take a while to install, so we recommend having updates installed automatically on your computer.
If the 3 steps above do not resolve your technical issues...
If you are still unable to connect under any supported internet browser, you may need to use another device to teach group classes. 
Contact EduDrift
 immediately if you are unable to attend a class due to technical difficulties so we can notify your specialist.

 

2. How to join classes on Zoom?

Windows/Mac Users
1. Open the Zoom desktop client.
2. Join a meeting using one of these methods:
-Click Join a Meeting if you want to join without signing in.
-Sign in to Zoom then click Join.
3. Enter the meeting ID number and your display name.
-If you're signed in, change your name if you don't want your default name to appear.
-If you're not signed in, enter a display name.
4. Select if you would like to connect audio and/or video and click Join.

Google Chrome
1. Open Chrome.
2. Go to join.zoom.us.
3. Enter your meeting ID provided by the host/organizer.
4. Click Join.
-If this is your first time joining Google Chrome, you will be asked to open the Zoom client to join the meeting.
-You can check Always open these types of links in the associated app to skip this step in the future.
5. Click Open Zoom Meetings (PC) or Open zoom.us (Mac).

Safari
1. Open Safari.
2. Go to join.zoom.us.
3. Enter your meeting ID provided by the host/organizer.
4. Click Join.
When asked if you want to open zoom.us, click Allow.

3. How to join classes on Google Classroom?

Join the video class with meeting link or email invitation:
1. Choose an option:
-If you have the meeting link, click the link or paste it into your browser.
-If you have an email invitation, in the message, under Join with Google Meet, click the link.
2. In Meet, at the top, make sure you’re signed in with your account. If you’re already signed in and need to switch accounts, click Switch account, select the Classroom account.
3. Click Join now.
